In a few days the Stardust mission will return to Earth. This is the space mission which flew through the tail of comet Wild2 and collected samples of material from the early days of the solar system.

When the samples are returned to Earth they need to be examined to find grains of interplanetary dust. You can download a virtual microscope and help in the search. Note that this isn't for everyone - a brief training session is required and you'll need a bit of motivation. However the reward of finding the particles is very appealing to those who are into this sort of thing.
