    Re: Windows Movie Maker

My first word of advice on Windows Movie Maker is this:

    Don't Use It!

however, if you're in a pinch and don't have access to anything else, it'll have to do. Have you tried looking through the trouble shooting section of the help that comes with the program/Windows, or contacting Microsoft?

Hey, I had a question. When making an AMV, which software is best? Should you use Windows Movie Maker? I currently don't have any movie making programs, and probably wouldn't have known how to use them if I did. I'm too afraid that downloading a new program will destroy my computer. Which program is the best and safest? I'm dying to learn how to make an InuYasha AMV. Thanks for reading!

You should never use Windows Movie Maker for anything serious. It's absolute rubbish.

To be honest I really don't know what would be best for AMV on a budget. It's not a file type that I've ever used. You might be better off trying to find a specialist anime forum.

Or does AMV mean Anime Music Video? If so, you're really trying to confuse us all. Usually, I think, around here an abbreviation like that one means a certain file extension, like JPG, MPG, or AVI.
