    pixles in gif images

    hi all just posting here coz im having a problem with image-ready in cs2
    when i save my save optimize as gif in anaimation my file becomes pixlelated now ive never had this problem in cs and ive try all ways to try to solve the problem pease help me with the setting to get the qualtey back in to my animation

    hi again thank for the quick reply ok i have 12 frames. why am i lossing so much quality.?

    The problem appears to be that you're going from a jpg to a gif. The gif format is limited to 256 colours, and since your image has a lot of gradients, gif cannot reproduce all the necessary colour so you will lose quality. If you convert the jpg image to "Indexed Color" you will see the same thing - whether or not you decide to make an animation out of it.

    So that's it really - there's no way to make a high-quality gif animation of that image .

    You could try using PNG or Flash instead.
