    What's wrong with this picture?

    This is what happens to a camera when you don't secure the tripod in windy conditions.

    It's one of our work cameras which we lent to a crew in a different region. They sent it back saying "Thanks, we're finished with it now".

    Would I be correct to guess that the front isn't supposed to have that downward angle on it?

    You would be correct. The lens was bent and the CCD block was wrecked. Surprisingly the lens still works but it will probably never be the same again.

    No, I suppose it wouldn't be the same again. Now, if you lent this to another camera crew, how would they not know to secure the tripod in the wind? Just seems a little common sense to me...
