    Converting Movies

    Does anyone know if Windows Movie Maker can use to reduce the size of my movie for posting on the web? If so can anyone assist me.

    I think I can help you, but Movie Maker is definantly not what you want to be using to edit the video, or post it to the web. But....click on file, save movie file, The Web, then one of the options will be your movie setting. That is where you will decide if you want it at MODEM, ISDN, DSL, CABLE MODEM. Higher the kbps, the better quality the video is going to be thus, larger file size. To get a good file size, but the quality won't be that great, use MODEM. Play with it, and you will see which settings you like. Let me know if there is anything else you need to know.

    If you have the budget, Adobe Premiere Pro (Windows) and Final Cut Pro (Mac) are very popular and very good. Adobe Premiere Elements is a cheaper version of Premiere Pro.

    There are also plenty of very cheap programs but I'm sorry I don't know much about them. www.muvee.com could be worth a look.
