    java error

Can anyone help me with this problem? When i go onto this site and move around in it i keep getting the following error, this does not happen when visiting other sites. Is it a problem with my IE or a problem on the site am visiting.
    Error:
    Java script error
    Description:Funcfion expected
    Source:http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/index.php
    Line:764

    Java script error
    Description:Funcfion expected
    Source:http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/mo...id=802_0_1_0_c
    Line:653

The exmaples are just a couple when am moving around this site. I have spoke with them and they think it could be my IE as a have tried it on Mozilla Firefox and Opera and have no problems, so i would be grateful if anybody could help me with this.

Firstly, this is a JavaScript error, not a Java error. JavaScript and Java are two very different things, so your Java settings are not related to this problem.

Secondly, there is definitely a problem with the website. JavaScript errors are almost always the website's problem rather than the browser. I had a look at the two pages you mentioned and although I didn't get any errors, I had a look at the source code of the pages and they are a mess. For example, the first page has two heads which will cause all sorts of problems.

So basically, it's the website's problem, not yours.

Tell them to go to the following page and enter their URL where it says "Validate by URL":
    http://validator.w3.org

It's a HTML validator, which shows the errors on a web page. There are 381 errors on their home page - that should convince them the problem is at their end

Victor, I think you need to contact the citi.com website about this.
