    Transparent background problem

I create an image with a transparent backgound in photoshop just fine. The problem I have is when I save it as a gif and view it, or load it onto a website it's all jagged and unclean. It looks perfect in photoshop, just not when I load it. When I flatten the image and save it as a jpeg it looks great, only it is no longer transparent. How do I save an image with a transparent image so it turns out high quality. Has anyone had this problem before?

Does the program you taking it to support .PSD (Photoshop files) If it does, try that!
