premiere capture - displaying on desktop?

I'm trying to do some editing that i should have done months ago.

My problem now is that when i'm capturing in premiere pro 1.5 it isn't displaying the video on the desktop in the capture window. it is capturing it fine, but is hard to cue it up accurately.

All the check boxes i can find are set to display on the desktop.

    Any suggestions?

problem kinda solved. i set it back to displaying only on one monitor, rather than the two.

i'll do all my capturing then fire the second monitor up again.

From the fridge, Do you have a tv hooked up as well?.

I've got the two monitors displaying ok but can't get the tv to display.
I have a Ti4200 graphics card that the two monitors are hooked up to and if i connect the tv to the s/video port as well it gets no signal or nothing is displayed on it. I also have a Leadtek tv 2000 card that i've tried connecting the tv to but still no signal.
Any ideas on how i should hook it up?

    Thanks, westie.

yeah, i have the tv hooked up too. I hook it up through the video camera though. The camera is hooked up via firewire, then the rca out cable from the camera to the tv. It only works for editing though.

With your set up, if the video card is half decent, i don't think you should have a problem running the two monitors. It has worked before, just something isn't right with the laptop at the moment. It had a heap of warranty work done a few weeks back including new HDD and dvd combo drive. I'm wondering if the drivers aren't up to date.

My two monitors work good. It's just the tv i'm having trouble getting to work. I may have to do it the same way as you.
(when i was using one monitor and the tv i could see the output video on the tv but now running two monitors i cant seem to get the tv to display anything)

Probably about time i updated my video drivers to. Having no problems with the drivers i'm using but suppose it wouldnt hurt
