    Mp4 player problem

I have recently bought an mp4 player on eBay from Hong Kong. I have had it for about a week now and earlier today i was listening to music and i looked at the screen to change music folders and the screen was black i can see the menu faintly but not good enough to see what i am doing. Any ideas whats gone wrong or how to fix it?

p.s. do you think static could of damaged it somehow as i was leaning over my t.v earlier plugging a cable in the back?

What an interesting attitude. You'll go far in life

BTW, if anyone had the answer to your problem I think it's unlikely that they will want to give it to you now.

I would have to agree with Dave. You should have more patience a decent answer may take a while to come about.

Now, although I can't be sure, if the screen on the MP4 player is dark it would be my guess that the LCD Backlight has been damaged or burnt out.
