    Open Movie Editor

While I was surfing through the net, I came across something of interest--
    a FREE Movie Editor.
Its completely free and I'm positive that its Open source too! (that means the program can be modified without risk of lawsuit) .
If anybody out there has been looking for A non-linear editor for their PCs
that is Good quality and free should google up "Open Movie Editor" and rejoice, because now you don't need to buy that expensive editing software to polish up your home movies!!! Thank You for Reading.

I have found that if you combine it with The GIMP,Audacity, And WAX
You've got yourself a completely free editing suite

    Here are their websites respectively:

    www.gimp.org

    audacity.sourceforge.net/

    http://www.debugmode.com/wax/

Have a look, this suite (as I've described it) may be too crude for you,
but then again, maybe it won't
    Who Knows,Enjoy.

Unfortunately,I've found that this program can't be used on the Windows Operating System, only the GNU/Linux system (which it was built on)
    Fortunately,
This one seems to be compatible with Windows, But only works with MiniDV Camcorders connected to the PC via a IEEE 1394 Cable (Specific, just to record from a camera, but thats the only way)
    its called Kino
    Here is the link:

But if that doesn't work, Try this one (in fact, give this a shot first, then Kino, unless your Specifically MiniDV with IEEE 1394)
    its called Zwei-Stein4
    Here is the link:

(there is also some other good programs on this particular page!)
    Enjoy.
