Importing DVD format into Premier 2.0

I need a little help. I am currently trying to take a video in DVD format and bring it into Adobe Premier Pro 2.0. Does anyone know how to do this?

Also, the DVD's are not copyright protected and my company owns the rights to them so we don't have legal issues to worry about. Thanks for any help.

I am guessing that you are on a PC.......You will need to download a Stripper that will convert the TS and VS files to MPEG. handbrake is one such program (i have it on a mac, and therefore not 100% sure that it will work on PC) but i would suggest to google DVD to MPEG converter. find a free one and go from there!

I use Nero vision to rip dvd video and render them as MPG.

You need software that will accept Vob files. And render as MPG

Full version of Nero does this fairly easily. Then you can import the mpg into premier and away you go...
