What do you use for your 3D animation

Lets here it. I use Maya for complicated projects, and DAZ studio for simple Animations. (also have After Effects, Motion, and Cinema 4d on hand)

You can pick all that apply, lets not pick what we have, rather what we usually use!

If you chose other, please specify.

    No, far from it.

I don't really work in 3D these days but I miss it. I used to use an old Amiga program that I made spaceships with - lots of fun. Can't remember the name of the program though. I never was much good at it, just played around.

May I reccommend a program called Blender?, It's a 3D program that can be used for texturing, rigging, skinning, animating, rendering, particles and other simulations, non-linear editing, compositing, and creating interactive 3D applications...Its quite powerful...and free...

    Here is the Website: http://www.blender.org/

    Good Morning from Houston
Being a new (old, I think I'm now considered a senior citizen since I have an AARP card), student to all things having to deal with web site development, I depend upon several things. One is the info I glean from excellent sites such as this one, as well as others. I'm real careful about surfing into unknown territory so one of my crutches is McAfee Site Advisor. Clicking on the link in the posting by Mr Twister, (how to make your own poster), yielded an immediate RED warning from McAfee.
I am presently taking courses from an organization based right here in HOUSTON that could be of interest to one and all. I'll post the links for the ones that may not know about the organization. It will NOT yeild a warning. This will take you to the home page http://www.hal-pc.org This one will take you to the main educational tutorial page http://oledu.com/hal-pc Hope this is of some use. Have a good one, I'm off to play softball.
