Just to add on to what I've shared in the earlier post when I mentioned getting 'something that last', just remember that's a kind of 'keeping up with the technology' syndrome when it comes to digital photography. So be careful to watch yourself on that.

It's mostly about the camera settings and most importantly the Lens that you choose. I use canon cameras and I think that they are nice and really can't tell the difference from a picture taken with the Canon 1d from one taken with the Canon 20d or 10d for that matter. So it's all about your skills in knowing what lens to use and the settings for the picture to come out how you want it to.

hi.. just look into SLR cameras and you should look into something at least 10 megapixels.

I know us Nikon people tend to be elitists but Ive also used a handfull of other camera brands over the years both film and digital and I know that ALL brands have something good to offer.

It begs the question, though...

What is YOUR camera brand of choice??
