Fullscreen on left-click on the video window

Greetings Dave. Dave, is it possible to optionally make the player go fullscreen when you simply left-click on the video window? Many players have that. That would be great for those who don't notice the right-click Go Fullscreen option.

Dave, just wanted to remind you for some search script addon like you said which searches the playlist and displays the results in the tree panel. That is the one thing I miss the most in MCMP.

Also Dave, will it be possible to add an optional feature to be able close (collapse) the left tree panel while watching a video, later when you work on it? This would be very useful for the new 16:9 widescreen HD video format. And also a request another size MCMP player to play 4:3 videos actually fullscreen by collapsing the left tree panel without the letterbox black spaces on the top which are there presently. My suggestion is that 4:3 and 16:9 can be the two sizes, which you can support (for fullscreen) by having a player for each of them, as most videos are either of these two sizes.

You are a leader in the web video player technology and your site is very useful to video enthusiasts. Are you planning a similar player for the new Microsoft Silverlight to play WMV (VC-1) video files with the tree panel (xml playlist) and fullscreen option? Thanks.

I've bookmarked this message so I won't forget about it. The left-click/full-screen option might be do-able. The playlist feature will be harder but I do want to do it at some stage.

Sorry I've been away from development for a while. New baby & other commitments are keeping me pretty busy.

    Left Click and Double Click

    Just to add to it:

Left Click on the player screen: Toggle Fullscreen mode.
Double Click on the player screen: Pause/Play.

The new MS Silverlight player has the opposite of the above but that creates a problem. When the video is playing at normal size, if you try to double click for fullscreen, then it pauses first and then opens fullscreen in the paused state.

So it will be best and really cool to have just left-click fullscreen and double-click on both the small or fullscreen to pause/play.
