    fixing my rv-l559 palmcorder

this might be in the wrong forum but can ya'll help me fix my palmcorder. the damn tape thing wont open, i've press the button millions of times, even tried using a butter knife to get it open but i stopped cuz i didnt wanna break it. i'd most prefer that someone could tell me how to fix rather than send to anyone. so if anyone can help me i'd appreciate it.

after searching the internet.....i could not find what piece of equipment you are taling about. this makes me think that parts for it will NOT be easy to find. Does it sound like the motor is working?

the motor where the tape compartment is or the overall camera motor. the overall motor is working fine. i just cant figure out how to get the tape door open. its like the buttun is either off track or its broke. i might just use the butter knife and try to get it open unless anybody has other suggestions

Usually camcorders have screws on them to open them and there is a manual eject [either a small plunger-action button or a gear] that will eject the carriage. If you don't know what you are doing, I don't recommend you do this without a service manual.

Service manuals tend to cost $10 - $30 and need to be ordered from the manufacturer or a repair center.
