    Query about Transparency

Hi, am newish to photoshop and all its related jargon and just need someone to translate a message I got into plain english. I needed a logo from someone at 300dpi and they sent an .eps file with the message "these are supplied in EPS format so you can render them to any size and resolution with transparency" which at this stage means nothing to me. Can anyone help me with this. Thanks

When you open it, you should be able to specify physical size (in inches, centimeters, or millimeters) and dots per inch (dpi)

the .eps file can be rastersized to any "size" you would like. You can make that logo 100' by 100' and still have the same quality. so just open it with a reasonable size in relation to your project
