    Adobe Captivate, .exe extension?

I've just started using this program and i'm looking for a way to save a file in it with an .exe extension?

Captivate isn't designed to create exe files, it's designed to work with web pages. What exactly are you trying to do?

    [Edit: Wrong - see below.]

i've actually discovered how to do this in the file/publish settings of the programe by choosing 'standalone' file, which creates a windows exe file.

My sincerest apologies, I was thinking of Adobe Contribute. I couldn't figure out why or how you could make an exe file from Contribute so I went to my start menu to have a try myself, then when I looked for the program I realised my blunder. I've recently been teaching some people to use Contribute and I think I had it on the brain. Oops
