    Video re-Sizing

    Looking for some Very Basic Simple Software for video encoding. Any good Ideas?

    Can you tell us anything about what hardware you have and what it is you're trying to achieve? Are you going for super high quality or just mucking around? Is there any particular format or platform you want to output to?

    Yeah, the question is a bit too vague to answer easily. The more details you can provide about what you have and what you need to do the better.

    for me MPEG1 is the most universal format that will play on windows with reasonable quality.
    you can output to MPEG1 from most video editing softwares if you have an MPEG encoder on your system. Windows comes with an MPEG1 Decoder built
    in (for playback only) you will have to install an "Encoder" to render your video to MPEG1.
    I find the LIGOS codec very good.
    The next step up in quality is MPEG2
    (DVD format) but only computers with DVD software
    will play them.

    descrete cleaner

    I use descrete cleaner and it is awesome except for mpegII video encode
