    DVC PRO drum hours check HELP

    Any one know how to check the hours on a DVC-pro aj-750 player recorder.

    Drum Hours

    This is a deck DVCPRO Digital Video Cassette Recorder AJ-750. I am trying to check the hours of operation on this deck. Does anyone know the procedure on how to check the drum hours.

    I've just spoken to my brother who deals with these units a bit. Unfortunately he's on leave and he can't remember the exact instructions but he thinks it has something to do with holding down the menu button while pressing the right arrow key.

    He suggested I ring the Panasonic broadcast division which I did but their tech was away on leave as well

    If you can't find the answer I can get it for you within a couple of days.

    If you have the manual, look around for 'service menu' instructions, sometimes they will print instructions on how to get to it, but not how to use it.

    it has to be a menu item that you can either bring up on the screen, or on the deck display....i would guess it would not be that hard to find if you just fished through the menus
