    Problem to make video streaming

    I wanted to make a video streaming on my website and I inserted the streaming codes on my web page. However, when I clicked the web page, the video only shows Quicktime logo and I have to wait few minutes to see the video. Mostly, when I see video streaming on other people's websites, it always display video 1st page first, but mine display Quicktime logo first.

    Could anyone go to check my link below and tell me the problem?
    Thank you in advance!

    The following is my codes.

    <object width="240" height="196"
    <param name="src" value="image/etude_4_narcissus/full/">
    <param name="controller" value="true">
    <param name="autoplay" value="false">
    <embed src="image/etude_4_narcissus/full/" width="240" height="196"
    autoplay="false" controller="true"

    Hi, i'm not a pro at this but i think your code is not correct for streaming. I accesed your link and my computer attempts to download the whole movie file (20mb) and after that plays the movie.

    The movie PLAYS it works so if the movie does not play on your computer than it's a codec problem.

    How to do correct streaming codes?
    I don't want visitors to see the video after downloading it.
    I wanted it with streaming playing.

    Thank you.

    Should I use Quicktime Pro 7 to export the video to become a streaming video?

    Hi Lin
    Far better to use Dave's player and convert your video to FLV. The overall result will be way better!!!

    Take a look at the Media Player forum here and you will have no more problems.
