    307,254 bytes need 307,256

Hi all, im looking for a little help....i have a bmp file...the size is 307,254 bytes, its 320x320 24-bit....but i need it to be 307,256 bytes, is there any way i can do this without adjusting the resolution of it? i know its such a small increase but i really need it to be that specific size to be accepted by an updater as a valid file

    Thanks in advance

That certainly is an unusual request. My only suggestion would be to find a small part of the image with not much detail and try to add a few different coloured pixels. For example, find an area with 10 square pixels of the same colour and change a few of them in the middle to a slightly different colour. With trial and error you might get the right file size.
