    Sound Card Advice

I own Cakewalk Home Studio 6 XL. I have a Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum Pro card with front input etc. What would be a better sound card for me to use DAW capabilities of Home Studio?

The Creative sound blaster is a very powerfull sound card i don't understand why would you need something more powerfull than that it's more than home audio. or did you encounter problems with this model of sound card?

What type of work do you plan to do, kalu? There is a wide array of DAW grade cards out there, all with different strong points [and price ranges]

Cheap with many inputs would be an m-audio delta. If you don't want a pci card, a good firewire choice is the alesis multimix firewire
