Hey all,

I'm not sure if this topic has already been gone over, or beaten to death, or not been talked about at all. But I need your help!

In the near future, I will be shooting several documentaries, and I want them to look as professional as possible. I own a Sony HDR HC7, but I am hearing very good things about the Canon HV20. Would it be worth the all the trouble of exchanging my Sony HDR HC7 and its accessories for a Canon HV20?

I've seen several clips from the HV20 on Youtube, and they looks surprisingly a lot like the Canon XH A1 (I don't quite have the money for THAT camera, yet.) But Youtube quality is really too low to make a fair judgement.

Bottom line?

I want the most professional looking video possible - should I keep my Sony HDR HC7 or make the trade for the Canon HV20?

Thanks to all who reply!
