Need help in making a photoshop batch

    Hi!

I have over 3000 pictures in jpeg format with white backround and some item. I need to make a photoshop batch that will do the following actions:

    1. Opens a file filename.jpeg
    2. Magic wand + invert selection + copy (cuts an item from the picture)
    3. Creates a new file with transparent background.
    4. Pastes copied part
    5. Saves a new image as filename.png

So, this batch should make a new image with SAME NAME ar source image but with transparent background and .png extention.

    Thanks.

Best way to do something similar to this, I've found, is batch create paths, then use photoshop or Paintshop Pro to batch convert them, not sure exactly what PS does, but PSP will cut the paths and save the images on transparent backing.

od you have illustrator? There is a really easy way to do this. That is how i rasterize and entire :30 sec spot to look like a cartoon after it is shot
