    Unicast Streaming into WMP

Is it possible for Windows Media Player to play unicast streaming video without having to install any codecs? The streaming video can be MPEG1 or 2. So far I've been able to open up the stream, but it's not being displayed properly. How can this be set up?

as I know you need download the 32-bit version of Windows Media Encoder 9 Series for Windows 2000 and Windows XP, or download the 64-bit version of Windows Media Encoder 9 Series for Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, and Windows Vista. It depends on that that is available for you.
