    Video Editing Software suggestions

I'm looking for a video editing program that has slow motion and zoom capabilities, and the ability to work with mpg files. I want the software to be as cheap as possible. I'm not a hardcore video enthusiast (yet), so high end programs aren't necessary, and I don't have a lot of money to spend on them.

I have a video (already on my computer) of my team's flag football games, and I would like to make a dvd out of it with some editing and some tongue-in-cheek presentation to give to my friends/teammates. I may do some more stuff in the future, but for now that is all that I need/want.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Sorry you haven't had any suggestions yet. After Christmas I will try to put together a suggested list of cheap editing software with included features. In the meantime if you have any luck finding something, could you please let us know?

i think those can be done in the Windows Movie Maker. It's a free sotware offered by Microsoft Corp.
