    popping sound in powered mixer

I was getting ready to run sound for the sondaynight meating we have, and when I was checking levels, I hird a loud kind of pop/crack from the mains. I thought that it was the amps, sometimes when they started popping, I resyckeled everything and it whent away, but I remembered that this was a powered mixer. I repowered it again, and it whent away, but I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what was causing this sound if we have no amps connected?

Your "powered mixer" is a 2 in 1 - a mixer with a built-in amplifier. Not in the meaning of, electrical power. Most likely it is your amp/power supply section that may be giving you problems - just a guess at this point .
