    Hi Copperman,

It sounds like you've already got the capturing part under control, so that's good. To edit and compress you just need the right software. Do you have any software you can use? If not, how much money can you afford to spend (if any)?

    ImageMixer ver 1.1

    Hi Dave,

I have just got the imagemixer v1.1. Had it for about 24 h. I am just reading thru the online manual. I have downloaded the video from camcorder to PC. Now, I have to learn how to edit and manipulate the video. I would likt to use it for video instant messaging, and webcasting.

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Copperman

If you can afford to spend a few bucks, get something like Adobe Premiere or ULead Video Studio.

Personally I think Premiere is a lot better but ULead is also good and much cheaper.

If you want to be at all serious, you need to have good software.
