Footage recorded in black and white

Here's a puzzler. I went and did a story, shooting b-roll outside in about minus 10C degree weather. Came out fine. I also did an interview outside shortly afterwards, and it recorded in black and white. It's a Panasonic AG-DP800HP S-VHS camera. What gives?

Sorry, no clues. Did you have any luck finding the cause?

re Footage in black and white

No I never did find out why. The only guess I can make is that the cold bothered the recording heads somehow and they didn't pick up the color. It's a 3 CCD (red, blue, green) sensor on these cameras? So maybe that could also be a problem.

The funny part is, this camera is supposedly good to minus 30 celsius, and I have used it in extreme cold before w/o this problem.
