I am currently experiencing an issue with my streaming player. After the player establishes a successful connection over RTMP (port 1435 I believe) it continues to try to create connections over port 80 and 443 which get dropped by the firewall and then successively retried. This problem produces unnecessary network traffic and reduces page response time performance. This bug does not prevent the video from playing since it is successfully delivered over the RTMP connection. Does this issue sound player related (custom player) or possibly our Akamai connection settings? Any help is appreciated.
