AVI conversion for Quicktime help needed

I want to offer a slide show on my site as a Quicktime movie. The conversion program I have (Video Explosion) converts it only to a 320x240 pixel size. Too small. The fade transitions look terrible and the images are not as sharp as in the .exe and if the user expands the window, the pixels stretch making it look even worse. I have the .exe file (as a zip file) on my site, but Mac users cannot view it. What can I do to offer it with good quality for Macs? Should I spend $30 for Quicktime Pro? Wil that improve the quality?

    Thank you,

    ~Cindy

Sorry about missing your message earlier Cindy.

Does it have to be Quicktime? If it's a slideshow of still images, Flash is probably a much better option. If you can't afford the Macromedia Flash program, there are programs such as Swish (www.swishzone.com) which are much cheaper.

If it does have to be Quicktime, the Sorenson codec (www.sorenson.com) does a great job of encoding good-quality files.

Looks nice. I might download the free trial and have a play.
