    text in Photoshop

    Hello.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in how InDesign handles text compared to Photoshop?

My wife was told that with some fonts in certain (usually small) sizes that Photoshop prints less than sharp edges while InDesign would not. Since both my wife and I are a LOT more comfortable with Photoshop, I wanted to find out what may be the issue.

When the work was turned in it looked fine, so what's the deal?

Thanks in advance for the help!

InDesign is vector based, PhotoShop is raster based. PhotoShop can include text as vectors, kinda, but on output they almost always become rasters.
