    Real Time ChromaKey.

I use chromakey/green screen to edit post recorded video. Is there any software out there that I can use to swap out the background with video/still image in real time on the fly? A plugin? anything?

That is usually one of the features of the video board when capturing/mixing live video.

I believe that the old DV tool that has been rebundled as "Adobe OnLocation" could do this, can't confirm though as I only ever played with the demo.

your board should be able to do this. the boards have been doing this for a long time. I do know a guy that runs live footage into his final cut, and it keys it, as it is running through.....I do not know how it is done, but i can ask.

IMO if it is live broadcast or live to tape it should be keyed with the switcher, not the software.
