    I love my new Treo

I finally retired my trusty old cellphone and made the move to a hand-held PalmOS smartphone. Why didn't I do this ages ago? Because I'm an idiot. This is the best investment I've made in years.

Once I got to grips with it, it's very easy to use and quite powerful. The qwerty keyboard is surprisingly easy and accurate, considering I can't actually see what I'm typing under my thumbs. The included apps are good, although I would have liked to see a better way to make text files. Synchronizing data with my PC is literally at the push of a button.

On the downside the camera is poor quality, and I notice the absence of Bluetooth. Also, there is no handwriting input supported. However these things don't bother me.

I'd be keen to see how it goes making video shot logs. The standard package wouldn't do it, but one of the reasonably-priced add-on apps might be perfect.

It's amazing how such a small package can bring so much joy
