    Done, but with errors on the page

    I know it is a javascript error, but I do not know what's wrong with my code. Can anyone enlighten me?

    Here is my javascript code:

    <script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.whicharea.com/fyp2/cs.aspx?Page=Index">
    </script>
    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <title>Index.gif</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;">
    <!-- Fireworks MX Dreamweaver MX target. Created Sun Jan 09 15:06:39 GMT+0800 (Malay Peninsula Standard Time) 2005-->
    <script language="JavaScript">

    I got this error:

    Line: 3
    Char: 1
    Error: Syntax error
    Code: 0
    URL: http://www.fusion-east.com/fyp2/index.htm

    Sorry about the delayed reply.

    The first error is that your first javascript tag comes before the <html> tag. The following code needs to be moved so it comes between the <head> and </head> tags:
    Code:
    <script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.whicharea.com/fyp2/cs.aspx?Page=Index">
    </script>
    However there's another problem. This code is designed to reference an external javascript file (defined by src=""). http://www.whicharea.com/fyp2/cs.aspx?Page=Index doesn't look like a valid javascript file. What exactly are you trying to do here? Where did this code come from?
