    How capture from SD ?

Do somebody already have an experiance how to capture materials from flash memory (SD drive) cameras? (Canon FS 10)

Do Adobe pro imports from DV only?

First you need a SD card reader to connect to you pc,or connect your camera to you pc directly via USB2.0 or ieee1394 cable, then find the hard driver and open up and then you will find the files ,you can rename the .MOD files to .MPG first ,or use Moyea HD video converter for mac convert all these files to the format you want, then you can put into ADOBE PROMIERE.
Not only ADobe can capture these files, Apple iMovie '08,CyberLink PowerDirector 6 ,Nero Vision 4 can also do the same job.

    thanks - it works

Thank You for the info. It realy works.

Does it means, that only DV, but not SD devise can be directly captured by Adobe? (using F5). In the Adobe setings I found only DV capture module installed.

    Hi vybard,

There's some misunderstanding of terms here.

In general, DV (Digital Video) is captured into different mediums, eg miniDV tapes, or memory sticks or cards, and in this case, a video camera using SD (Secure Digital) flash memory cards. You can't be capturing an SD video for the fact that it is a piece of hardware, not the content (or 'soft' copy) of what has been captured.

Hope that clears the misty air for you. Cheerio!
