    Does anyone here twitter?

I've been convinced to give twitter.com a go. It's too hard to explain concisely so I'm not going to try. I was just wondering if anyone here uses it - if so you can follow me at www.twitter.com/projectdave

I just use facebook status and/or AIM away messages and I don't even update those when they're no longer valid, yet alone very regularly. I don't think twitter would be useful here

No, I don't think it would have much application for this website. I was really just interested to see if other people are using it, and whether they find it useful or not. I was talked into it from a marketing point of view but to be honest I think I'll use it more for personal/family use (if I continue to use it at all). I have to say the SMS feature is the only think that makes it practical. I'd never keep it updated on the web but sending a text to let everyone know what I'm doing seems to work okay.

    Hi Dave,
I use Twitter ( http://twitter.com/creatid ), and I'm still in the try-out stadium as well. Professionally I think it can be useful if there are enough of ones clients / prospects on Twitter. Another way to build your 'brand' so to speak. So I can see the value for certain people, but not sure where this will go for me. I already heard some mentioning that Twitter will be 'replaced' in the near future by FriendFeed, now that they added real time updates. It makes me wonder on how many of these "new shiny toys" you'd want to keep up with....

At this time, I do not twit... I am twitterless . As much as I'd like to use it, I have no need for it. The only time I can see myself using it, is because of my need to broadcast and coordinate situation(s). Or if I'm so deeply involved that the only way to communicate is via Twitter.

Suffice it to say, I'm not in those boats yet.

i tried for a while but gave up. In the end, i rely mostly on AIM to contact buddies online or just use my trusty cell phone to text them.
