How to reduce echo and acoustic from recorded audio/video

I have recorded video in basement which resulted echo/acoustic, is there any audio/video plugin which can reduce echo/acoustic.

Not much. It's easy to add echo but hard to take it off. Hang some blankets, move the mikes closer, and make another recording.

As funny as it sounds, along with hanging some blankets to absorb the sound, make sure the source is not perpendicular to a reflective surface.

10 to 25 degrees or so can greatly reduce the amount of reflection that is caught on the mic.

But the most common thing is to just deaden the flat (bouncy for sound waves) surfaces.
