    Rolling Shutter fix

The Foundry based in the U.K. has come up with a solution to fix the CMOS artifact of rolling shutters. Check this out!

Luckily I still stick to CCD chips but I did notice that Panasonic's new HMC40 camera now has a firmware update to diminish the effect of rolling shutter as they decided to put 3MOS chips into that camera.

Unfortunately the software that is on the YouTube video only tends to correct verticals that are victims of a rolling shutter. You still have to be mighty careful that you don't give the camera a rough ride or bump it as the dreaded "jello" effect is still a problem!!!
