    windows media to the web

    Are there any free web hosts that allow me to upload windows media??????

    That's always free - why not go directly to microsoft.com and get it there, instead of a web host?

    I think Luke means a web host where he can show Windows Media files on a web page.

    I don't really know what free hosts offer these days. It's certainly not like the good old days where you could run a semi-effective website for nothing. Free hosts tend to have too many limitations to be much use now.

    On the other hand there are some very cheap hosts around if you can spare a few bucks a month. Virtually any paid host will allow you to include media files.

    The thing that stops you will usually not be whether you're allowed media files, but how much data transfer you get. For example, you might get a host who lets you publish Windows Media files, but you only get to show them a few times each month before your limit runs out.

    Out of curiosity, have you tried any of the freebies like Geocities?
