    Balanced / Unbalanced Audio

I am researching for my final year project and I have a couple doubts.

My project is to make a DJ effects processor to work with the Pioneer DJM 1000 mixer. I will be using the Send/Return channels for my audio in and out.

If the output of the mixer's Send is labelled as L&R (Mono) Is the stereo signal Balanced or Unbalanced? Being Mono Jack outputs my guess is no. Is that right?

Here is a picture of the back of the mixer:

    Thank you!

Firstly, the mixer is NOT labeled "L&R (Mono)". It is labeled L (Mono) Right. Which means when using a mono signal use the left channel.

You really should not got to a forum to get other people to do your homework. You could have easily found the answer to the above question and subsequently, the question to your entire project by reading the manual.

    Best,
