    Sheffield Plate

Just seen this term used - found one reference to it somewhere, but not sure if I'm understanding it correctly:

Is a sheffield plate a jimmy jib with a seat on the end? The first time I saw the phrase it was just listed, but I found a place where it's worded as follows: "Jimmy Jib, Kestrel Crane and a Cam Seat (Sheffield Plate)"

    Any ideas?

Hahaha yeah that's what I thought when I first saw the phrase!

Didn't know that it had a special name to be honest. Just thought it was another form of unnamed camera mounting!
