hello guys,

first of all thank hello to all of you!

i have a huge problem that i am trying to solve for weeks now and i am now at a point where i am close to decide to give back the whole equipment to the one that sold it to me telling him &%$@#^%$@#*^!

the following equipment is being used:

two LG PTZ cameras and (and this is the one that causes me a lot of trouble!) a videoserver by Geovision...

i opened the port 8554 on my router... opened 8554 udp and tcp... only 8554 udp... only 8554 tcp...

on the videoserver (it has 4 channels) i only found the 3gpp server option that is set to 8554 tcp and 17300-17319 udp...

whatever i do... i can not connect to the stream via quicktime...

i need to connect to the videostream of the cameras in order to forward that one on a web site i have built...

does anyone has a clue on how to do that?

it might be true that geovision is specialised on security cams but there MUST be a way to solve that problem without using SDK like geovision told me... i dont want to program an interface via activeX i need to connect to the stream via rtsp... i am trying to use the rtsp now for days and days and no progress...

if someone has an idea please help me... the usage of a videoserver is a cool thing or am i wrong with that?

PM me... send me a pigeon... whatever but if you can... help... i dont want to invest more days and days into that and think that the equipment we have is good...

thank you in advance for any tips you have!

G
