    Using Camcorder for Stop-Motion Animation…

    Hello,

I have a question. I have a Canon ZR960 MiniDV Camcorder that I use for college animation classes. Every time I use my animation software (which is TVPaint Animation 9.5 Standard) to shoot stop-motion animation, I can never get the display off of the screen during the shoot. So, the display stays on my movies when they are completed. It's very annoying. Is there a way to deactivate the display during my animation experiments? If anybody has advice, it would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Your best bet would most likely to check out the Canon website unless someone who uses this forum has the exact same camera.

Once you've resolved your problem, I hope you'll come back to post it to help others.

    Good luck!

I agree, go to the following link and click below the camera on "Brochures and Manuals" DL the manual, and start reading. You should be able to find it in there fairly quickly
