    Editing software

I am an aspiring radio announcer and producer .. I am wanting to know what the standard editing software is for radio - Presently I am using Cool Edit Pro.

I believe Radio Computing Services is popular although I'm only going on what others have told me. As I understand it, RCS NexGen is a standard automation package that also includes basic editing features, but for advanvced editing you'll want something more specialized.

Personally I always recommend learning as many different applications as you reasonably can. Have a look at some freebies like Audacity.
