how can i convert video clips to frames

    Hello,
Can any one help me how to convert video clips (mp4 etc) to frames.
I am trying to use it as a background image of my 3 D animation (houdini)
I'd appreciate it if any one can post an example files or video tutorial for me.
I am a beginner in 3 D animation and No idea in using AF and Premier.
    Thanks.
    Steve

    File > Export > Media

From the Format drop-menu, select a still image format such as JPEG, TARGA or TIFF.

In the video tab, check the "Export as Sequence" box.

    Click Export or Queue.

I loaded it to my camera in houdini and rendered it.
But, I do not see the background image in my display, called MPlay in Houdini.
Can you help me further please.
I tried it again by selecting Exporting as sequence.
I wonder where I should save it to load it back to my camera in houdini.

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with Houdini - I don't think I can help any further. Perhaps you could try asking in the Houdini forum.
