Saving the file
There are a few ways to do this, & it depends on the format you start from, but remember to save your finished product as PNG. to keep the background as transparent when importing this image to another application or using it in the future.

Hello, I am a completely new designer, and am designing our new website without help from anyone, and yet I cannot for the life of me discover how to make my logo transparent for my website.
I created it online, and would like to upload it onto the website designing page.
The logo has a white background, and the page itself is black. Can you help me?

I just save a png file for Avid or use the psd files for After Effects. This way I don't have to create alphas.

Using an image with a transparent background
I'm trying to use an online program to create an iron on decal for a shirt. I've created a .gif file with a transparent background, but I can only make it upload with a white background. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I might be able to get this to work better?
