capture in CS5

Hi hope someone can help. I a trying to capture tape from my Canon XHa1 camera, but cannot see what I am capturing in the capture window. Any assistance will be appreciated

Unfortunately that's a limitation of the software. You can't monitor HDV images as you're capturing. It's a bit of a pain but when I used to do it with my Sony HVR-Z1P I just made sure I could see the camera's LCD screen while I was capturing and used that instead.
